I scanned the user manual for the Stabilock 4039 which is pretty much the same as the Stabilock 4040 - one difference is that mine will tune up to 1GHz instead of 960MHz.

AIS Server Access

Served as text from HTTP: This is provided to allow access without needing to open ports in a corporate firewall
AIS-Server page
Direct Telnet access: This provides a direct logon to the server
telnet://hamble.demon.co.uk:2223

In both cases the AIS data is the raw NMEA output of a Comar 2 channel AIS receiver in my garage with each line of NMEA preceded with a timestamp in square brackets based on the uptime of the server.
